MESSAGE BY THE HONORARY PRESIDENT

Pakistan and Austria enjoy cordial and friendly relations. The two countries also share common views on a range of issues and cooperate with each other on multilateral fora.

 In my capacity as the Honorary President of Austria-Pakistan Society, I am committed to further strengthen and deepen Pakistan-Austria ties. My mission is to expand bilateral trade, enhance Austrian investments in Pakistan, build bridges between private sectors, attract Austrian tourists to Pakistan, promote parliamentary relations and cultivate people-to-people ties. Education, science & technology, climate change, green economy and information technology are priority areas for our bilateral cooperation and collaboration.

 Austria- Pakistan Society has done a commendable job in bringing Pakistan and Austria closer. The Society serves as an effective platform to augment efforts for the pursuit of the two countries’ shared objectives with particular focus on promoting business relations, academic exchanges and cultural ties.
